Our internet marketing classes are continuing to grow in popularity! We are teaching three classes now: an introduction, the basics of seach engine marketing and an advanced class in search engine marketing.
IM 1: An Introduction to Internet Marketing (entry level class - no prerequisites)
SEM 2: Basic Search Engine Marketing Techniques (Prerequisite: SEM 1)
SEM 3: Advanced Search Engine Marketing Practices (Prerequisite: SEM 2)
An Introduction to Internet Marketing (IM 1)
This class fee is $100 per person for the three hour workshop and space is limited to twenty persons.
In the first hour we cover the basics of attracting, converting and reselling visitors to your website, with an emphasis on creating an effective and appropriate call to action for your home page or landing page.
The second hour is used to cover the different methodologies used to get visitors to your website, including conventional media (business cards, brochures, radio, newspaper, direct mail), internet directories, internet "power partners" and search engines.
The third hour is devoted to explaining and demonstrating how PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising programs work, how you may be able to benefit from them, avoid losing money through PPC fraud, and how to demographically and geographically target your website for search engines.

Basic Search Engine Marketing Techniques (SEM 2)
This class fee is $250 per person for the three hour workshop and space is limited to twelve persons.
The first hour is spent going through our workbook: The Top Ten Tips for Search Engine Optimization. (Retails for $19.99)
The second hour is devoted to teaching you how read website source codes so you can see what the search engines see.
The third hour covers submission to FREE directories and programs like DMOZ (the Open Directory Project), Google's Local Business Center (FREE traffic from google searches by links from google maps and google's free online coupons) and understanding Alexa.

Advanced Search Engine Marketing Practices (SEM 3)
This class fee is just $500 per person for the three hour workshop and space is limited to six persons.
The first hour includes hands-on analysis of live websites (we will analyze yours if you want us to...) along with practical application of how to transform them with proper SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques.
The second hour covers how to use website analytics to improve the performance of your website with search engines. This includes an introduction to server-side web stat programs and how to interpret them as well as an introduction to the popular google webmaster's tools, and learning how to submit a .xml sitemap of your website to google.
The third hour is devoted showing you how to conduct valuable research to find relevant keyword phrases for your website, explaining how to interpret the results, develop content-rich search engine magnets and how to develop powerful cross-linking strategies.

Classes are being held at the CPI Tech Center in Port Angeles, the Incubator at Lincoln Center, and the Port Angeles Downtown Assocation conference room.
Payments: I will email you an invoice that you may pay online to reserve your space. If you want to pay by phone, I will call you to collect your payment. Please understand that your space is not reserved until your payment is processed. Thanks!
Cancellation Policy: Space is very limited, class sizes must be kept small to make them work well, so if you need to cancel, we will only refund your class fee so long as we are able to fill the spot with another paying attendee. If we are unable to fill your seat, then we will reschedule you for the next available class at a 50% off.
